Excel Co-op works with individual producers in the contract production of hogs.  Excel purchases weaner pigs from two independent producers.  These pigs are transported to our contract nursery facilities.  Our production consists of two contract nursery sites and numerous contract finishing facilities.  These sites are located in Excel Co-op's trade territory and bordering counties.

Sam Moffitt is the manager of the Swine Division.  Sam has been with the Co-op since 1985.  He has extensive experience in swine production and nutrition.  Assistant Manager is David Miller.  Dave assists Sam working with contract producers on daily management procedures.
